Paola Rodriguez founded Michelle’s Group Family Daycare in 2012 to provide a quality day care for all families located in Bronx, NY.  Our staff has completed several trainings to provide your children with the best resources and support:

  • CPR, AED, AND BASIC FIRST AID
  • MANDATED REPORTER TRAINING: IDENTIFYING AND REPORTING CHILD ABUSE AND MALTREATMENT.
  • PREVENTING AND MANAGING INFECTIOUS DISEASES IN EARLY EDUCATION AND CHILD CARE.
  • HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING: COMPETENCIES FOR BECOMING A FAMILY OR GROUP FAMILY DAY CARE.
  • FOUNDATION IN HEALTH AND SAFETY.
  • TRAINING IN SCHOOL VIOLENCE PREVENTION AND INTERVENTION.
  • CERTIFICATE IN FIELD EXPERIENCE IN EDUCATION (120 HOURS).
  • POSITIVE APPROACHES FOR CHALLENGING BEHAVIORS.
  • UNDERSTANDING ASTHMA (TRAINNING).
  • NUTRITION & HEALTH WORKSHOP SERIES.
  • CHILD DEVELOPMENT: GUIDING CHILDREN’S BEHAVIOR AND INFECTIOUS DISEASE CONTROL.
  • 30 HOURS REQUIERED BY NEW YORK STATE OFFICE OF CHILDREN, AND FAMILY SERVICES TRAINING.

We are licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
